Join us at Sunset Heal Jamaica the ideal place to practice yoga and meditation. We’re open until end of May, abd in that time we function purely on donation basis. You will simply cover transportation and contribute what you can to help the community pay the bills.

This beautiful hillside is a peaceful haven in a laid back atmosphere. We offer outdoor yoga classes and authentic cultural experiences. Relax in a hammock and enjoy the view. It’s your spring break!

Location / Directions

Located 40KM south of MBJ between Roaring River and Shrewsberry.
The event will be taking place at Sunset Heal Jamaica. Read what people say on TripAdvisor.

We can schedule a pickup at Montego Bay Airport (MBJ) airport for $50 US`or you can get route taxi van from Montego Bay Bus Terminal to Sav La Mar. On the way you will ask to get off at Petersfield where you will be able to get a taxi to drop you off at Shewberry Logwood, this should cost under $10 and is recommended if you do not have much luggage.

Canopy cottages under the cover of lush tropical fruit trees.
Lawn cottages are located on the ground floor, for guests with reduced mobility.
Camping space for tents is available on the acre lawn at the front of the property.

As you walk up the hillside of Sunset Heal you come across a group of 3 cottages perched on the hillside.

They overlook the panoramic vista of the sugar cane plains and hills.

Located at the bottom of the hill underneath the cover of lush tropical fruit trees are the group of “canopy cottages”.

These cottages were designed to capture the breeze and coolness of their surroundings.

Located on a beautiful acre of lawn at the front of the property is our Lawn Cottage.

The Lawn cottages feature easy access to all facilities at ground level.

Tent Space

At the front of the property is an acre lawn which is camping space for tents. Feel free to camp here, we are currently in the process of building an outdoor kitchen.

 

Food

Restauraunt provides meals by donation
Kitchen available for use (donations go to electric, water and gas)

 

What to bring
We suggest bringing a mat, strap, blocks, and meditation cushion.
If you are able to bring something on the needed list to donate or barter, it would be appreciated.

Yoga Instructor
Will is an an avid tree planter and experienced traveller. His refreshing and spirited style is a great way to lighten up your mood.

In March he’ll join us to guide a six day workshop, on yoga and meditation, which will include some yin yoga classes, as well as hikes, discussions, juggling classes, and poetry readings, a journey you won’t want to miss. He’s sure to provide insight from his own experiences.
