Sunset Heal Jamaica is a countryside guesthouse, nestled in the Jamaican Hills of Westmoreland offering an ecological oasis for yoga students, backpackers and adventurers.
Secluded, high in the hills of Jamaica is a chance to unwind and rejuvenate.
We welcome you to stay, volunteer, and contribute. We offer daily yoga and meditation as well as meals, camping for volunteers, and rooms based on the availability of our guest house.

We’re looking for volunteers. We are working hard to create a self sufficient community with organic garden.

We can schedule a pickup at Montego Bay Airport (MBJ) airport for $50 US
You can get route taxi van from Montego Bay Bus Terminal to Sav La Mar. On the way you will ask to get off at Petersfield where you will be able to get a taxi to drop you off at Shewbury Logwood, this should cost under $10 and is recommended if you are an adventurer with not much luggage.

Lawn cottages are located on the ground floor, for guests with reduced mobility.
Camping space for tents is available on the acre lawn at the front of the property.

Located at the bottom of the hill underneath the cover of lush tropical fruit trees are the group of “canopy cottages”.
These cottages were designed to capture the breeze and coolness of their surroundings.
Located on a beautiful acre of lawn at the front of the property is our Lawn Cottage.
The Lawn cottages feature easy access to all facilities at ground level.
At the front of the property is an acre lawn which is camping space for tents. Feel free to camp here, we are currently in the process of building an outdoor kitchen.
Restauraunt provides meals to guests.
Community kitchen and lawn space available for use by guests.
What to bring
We suggest to bring a yoga mat, strap, blocks, and meditation cushion.
If you are able to bring something on the needed list to donate or barter, it would be greatly appreciated.
We have beds starting at $15 per person. Event is on donation basis.
Volunteering is encouraged. Pay what you can and camp for free.

David Bensimon, Community Leader
David organizes and guides community yoga events in Montreal and Jamaica. A karma yogi by nature, he is outgoing, helpful and not afraid to take action to help improve our world.
He’ll be your guide to the Jamaica Yoga Community.
Will Charbonneau, Yoga Instructor
Will is an an avid tree planter and experienced traveller. His refreshing and spirited style as a yoga guide is a great way to lighten up your mood. He has recently joined Moksha Yoga Montreal and has taught more classes in his first year at Moksha (285) then any other new teacher.
Will joins us March 7-13, 2015 to guide us on a week-long yoga workshop. He’ll guide us through hatha, vinyasa, and restorative yin classes. Other activities include guided meditation, hikes and group discussions. A journey you won’t want to miss. He’s sure to provide insight from his own experiences.
